Hi, I’m Janae! Cozy Stay Co. started with one house in Bryan—and a lot of trips to visit our kids at Texas A&M.

Both of our kids, Brennan and Kylee, were Aggies, which meant Michael and I were in Bryan constantly—game days, family weekends, move-ins, you name it. During one of those visits, we saw an opportunity to turn a house into something special. We’d always loved hosting and creating spaces where people could gather, so we decided to make it a family project.

We did a lot of the work ourselves and remodeled that first property with families like ours in mind: parents visiting their Aggies, groups coming in for game weekends, families celebrating milestones. We wanted to create the kind of place we’d want to stay ourselves—comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for real life, not just pretty photos.

Today, Cozy Stay Co. is a small family of properties in Bryan and Central Texas. We own and manage each one ourselves, which means when you book with us, you’re not dealing with a faceless property management company. You’re working with a family who genuinely cares about your stay.

Our Three Properties

Howdy Hangout and Gig ‘Ems & Good Times in Bryan are our Aggie homes. They grew out of those early days with Brennan and Kylee at A&M—we know what game day weekends need, what family celebrations require, and how to make groups feel at home. These properties are designed for the energy and warmth of Aggieland.

Cozy Stay in Goldthwaite is our central Texas guesthouse. It’s down a dirt road, tucked into the live oaks, and perfect for couples or small families who want peace, quiet, and a slower pace. It’s the kind of place where you actually unplug.
